I have attended all four years of my high school career at Blue Valley Southwest. During those four years I took all of my required classes and lots of art classes when I had the time. Art has always been my passion ever since I was a little girl and is something that I want to continue doing in the future. I love being around kids and have seen how much of an impact a teacher can bring to a student's life, which is what led to me deciding that I want to become an art teacher. Next year I will attend KU University and major in Art Education to further continue my dream of being an art teacher.

All students have a favorite class or a favorite teacher, somewhere they could go where they feel comfortable. For me that place was my art class. My art teachers have always made me feel welcome in their classes, and have made a huge impact on my life as an individual. I look up to those teachers and hope that in the future I can make a positive impact on somebody's life like some of my teachers have done for me.
